Idea Box Privacy
Idea Box does not require an account. Your display name, ideas, votes, comments and app preferences are stored on your device using browser or app storage.
Idea Box does not use analytics or advertising trackers. If you clear the app’s storage or uninstall the app, locally stored content may be removed.
Voice capture requires microphone and speech-recognition permission. It is optional; you can always type your idea instead. When cloud transcription is configured and within its daily limit, a recording is sent to Groq solely to turn it into text. Recordings are kept only in memory for that request and are not stored by Idea Box. If cloud transcription is unavailable or capped, Idea Box uses your device’s speech recognition instead.
